E LICENSE

 

Duration:
 
 
The E Certificate Course is an 18-hour course. Attendance is mandatory to pass course.
Examination:

 
There are pre-course work requirements that needed to be completed by all candidates and turned in upon the start of the course.
Applicants:






 
The minimum number of candidates is 15. The maximum number of candidates is determined by the size of the facility. The number of candidates is set one week before the course begins according to the number of instructors required. Candidates must be 16 years of age. Candidates must have their F License to obtain their E.
Fees:


 
Cost will vary due to course location fees. Payment for the course needs to be made to the State Office - check made payable to Nebraska State Soccer.

General Information:


 

Candidates should bring a soccer ball, training suit, sweat suit, or any form of action clothing - gym shoes or soccer cleats depending on surface, water, and writing materials.

IMPORTANT: 

Online F course must be completed BEFORE the start of the E license - this can be done at dcc.usssoccer.com

Pre-course assignments including a Laws of the Game and concussion module must completed prior to the course.  

 

"E" License Pre-course Assignments

 

All pre-course assignments will be completed online through the Digital Coaching Center (DCC).  

Candidates are required to complete four (4) pre-course assignments. Candidates must complete two (2) Laws of the Game assignments, Team management assignments, a Concussion Awareness video and a Care and Prevention Webinar. Each assignment will be submitted during the opening lecture.

1. Laws of the Game

Part A – Watch Part A video. Complete the U.S. Soccer Referee exam ("E" License candidates are required to complete modules 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17)

Part B - Watch Part B video. Then research and write a brief report on the rationale of modified small-sided games rules. Read and review the modifications for the following FIFA Rules:

1. Field, 2. Ball, 3. Players, 5. Referee, 6. Assistant Referee, and 7. Duration of Game.

*Candidates are required to print a completion certificate and submit during the opening lecture. Certificates will only appear once all slides and questions have been viewed and answered correctly.
