Nebraska Olympic Development Program

2017-2018 Olympic Development Program Player Pools
What is ODP?

ODP is the process to identify and develop elite players to represent the state, with the potential to represent region 2 and eventually be invited to participate in youth national team events.
Players interested in the ODP program may begin the process as a part of the Player Development Program for birth years 2004-2005. Players will participate in training clinics as they prepare for ODP selection.
Players in birth years 2003-1999 will tryout (generally in August/ September) and are identified for either the state pool or continue development in the Player Development Program.
Players selected for a Nebraska ODP team will train throughout the year and play in various showcases and tournaments. Based on their play at these events they can be selected to join the Region 2 ODP identification camp which can lead to selection to the regional pool.
The most elite players from the Regional ODP teams are then selected to be a part of the Youth National teams.
