Nebraska State Soccer Announces Fall 2013 State Champions
York, NE (October 8, 2012) – The State’s top competitive U15, U16, U17 & U18 teams vied in semifinals and finals this past weekend at the Nebraska Fall State Cup, resulting in eight new State Champions. The eight State Champion teams will advance to represent Nebraska at the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships, June 22 – 26, 2013 in Des Moines, IA.
The Fall 2013 Nebraska State Cup Champions include the following teams:
U15 Boys State Champions: NFC 97/98 Blue
U15 Girls State Champions: OFC Elite 1 97/98
U16 Boys State Champions: OFC Elite 1 96/97
U16 Girls State Champions: LSC EGA Maroon
U17 Boys State Champions: OFC Elite 1 95/96
U17 Girls State Champions: OFC Elite 1 95/96
U18 Boys State Champions: OFC Elite 1 94/95
U18 Girls State Champions: LSC EGA Maroon

The Nebraska State Soccer 2013 Fall State Cup tournament featured 27 boys and 22 girls teams ranging in age from Under-15 to Under-18 and is the premier tournament in the state. The Fall Nebraska State Cup is open to any team that is registered and in good standing with the Nebraska State Soccer Association at the U-15 – U-18 Age groups. It is designed for Premier and Classic I teams that compete at the highest level of play. The Nebraska State Soccer Association hosts the Nebraska State Cup. The U15 through U18 age groups play in the Fall State Cup, while the U-13, U-14 and U-19 age groups play in the Spring State Cup.
